Universidad de Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli admits it 'painful' if reported Manchester United target Angelo Henriquez left the club at this stage of his career
Speculation has claim that Premier League side United are close to finalising a 3million deal to add the 18-year old striker to their squad. Henriquez has enjoyed an impressive start to his career with Universidad and he has reportedly been on the Red Devils radar for the past 12 months.
Sampaoli is unsure if there are any agreement in place, but he would be dissapointed if Henriquez moved on without Universidad being able to enjoy the benefits of his development.
'We dont agree much with the idea of a player leaving so young, but we dont know what previous agreement are there,' Sampaoli told Prensafutbol.cl.
'It would be painful for the club for him to leave at such a young age and not allow us to enjoy his development.'
'It seems we are suffering from the same problem that affects Argentina with young players leaving more and more early.'
United already agrees the terms to sign Shinji Kagawa and have also been linked with the Japan international's Borussia Dortmund team-mate, Robert Lewandowski.

Devils Charm Modric
Luka Modric is on his way to Manchester United. Boss Alex Ferguson has offered Tottenham Hotspur a 25mil fee, rising to 30mil based on appearences and success. Modric, 26, will be handed a four-year deal worth 26mil. His wages of 125,000 a week will put him among the big earners at Old Trafford.
Modric was kept up to date with talks while at Euro 2012 with Croatia and will seal the move on his return. Spurs held off interest from Chelsea to hold on to the midfielder last year. The Croatian said he had no intention of quitting spurs having singed a six-year deal in May 2010. United boss Fergie singed Japanese star Shinji Kagawa this week and wants Newcastle's Cheik Tiote and Everton Left Back Leighton Baines - but refuses to match the 20mil valuations on each.

Manchester United Rumours: Reports Indicate Wesley Sneijder Could Be on His Way
Manchester United are back a top the Barclay's Premier League table and with it comes rumors of another top transfer.
Mirror Football claims reports indicate the much talked about transfer of Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder to Manchester United are back on for the January transfer window.
The 27 - year old Dutch superstar was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout the summer as the possible replacement to Paul Scholes, but the deal broke down because of his wages.
If Sir Alex Ferguson is trully interested, anything is possible. The united boss has already said, however, that he would not be buying players during the January window.
The mirror Football report quotes the legendary coach as saying :
It is not easy to get players in January. I am not quite sure if you went for a player if he could play in the Europa League. There is criteria there in the sense of playing in the Champions League and whether they could play in the Europa League. There are a lot of issues there but there is nothing in my mind at the moment.
But with Sneijder those issues would be worth working out.
United has done a number of different things with their midfield so far this year. We've seen youngster Tom Cleverley play great when healthy, but he hasn't been on the pitch in some time.
Anderson also went down with injury and because United has so much attacking tallent up top, Fergie even experimented with Wayne Rooney in the midfield.
Crazily enough, it can work. With Chicharito, Danny Welbeck, Dimitar Berbatov ( for now ) and even Michael Owen, they can spare the talismanic forward.
Rivals Manchester City are heck of club though, and could still pull of something of their own for the second half. The two clubs are tied atop the table with 45 points.
Adding Sneijder, one of the world's best, for a tittle run would certainly give the defending champions an edge going into the second half of the campaign.
